This old Guy Marks big band parody was played for fun with my uncle Jerry Bidwell. He sang through what he called a "doot-da-doo" which in this case was an old cardboard toilet paper roll. He also told me the story of my father, as a young boy, finding the perfect doot-da-doo on the shore of a river, only to later be told it was actually the cardboard tube from an old tampon.
lyrics
Your red scarf matches your eyes,
You closed your cover before striking
Father had the shipfitter blues
Loving you has made me bananas
